Photography and video for Zoos Victoria
At Zoos Victoria, I spent 8 years producing content for major visitor, fundraising and behaviour-change campaigns, including Don't Palm Us Off, They're Calling on You, Wipe for Wildlife and Beads for Wildlife, as well as threatened species programs and on-site exhibits and information screens.
You can see some of my Zoos Victoria graphics, brand and campaign work on a separate page >>
At Zoos Victoria, I was awarded “Fighting Extinction ZV Scholarships” (a Zoo Fellowship) to develop the "Fighting Extinction" 21 Australian threatened animal species program's wildlife video and photography library, working with subject-matter experts and content producers, and filming on location (often in regional and remote Victoria and New South Wales).
I later contributed to Zoos Victoria's (then-new) much larger online photography library.
Photos, video and media packs for 5 elephant births and other major Zoo events (such as exhibit openings, e.g. Act Wild exhibit at Melbourne Zoo).
My focus was on Alpine She-oak Skinks, Guthega Skinks, Southern Corroboree Frogs, Helmeted Honeyeaters and Leadbeater's Possum.
